Tesla Model 3 / Y equipped with AMD chips began to be delivered in North America, and there are 12V lithium-ion batteries
The photos posted by Teslascope on Twitter show that the latest Model 3 and Model Y delivered in North America are also equipped with AMD Ryzen chips, and the 12V battery of the new car is clearly marked as a lithium-ion battery.

The new Model 3 and Model Y vehicles also have a small groove for the front camera.

The photo shared on social media is of a car manufactured on December 21, 2021, suggesting that Tesla has recently started to equip the Model 3 and Model Y with the latest infotainment system. The VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) of the upgraded vehicle starts with 139xxx. Some car owners with VIN numbers starting with 137 stated that their cars do not have AMD Ryzen chips or other upgrades.

The company's new MCU chip has some advantages. Because it uses AMD chips, users can expect a smoother user experience. Applications such as Netflix and YouTube should also run better, almost similar to high-end smartphones on the market.
